The GHT Low route also referred to as the “cultural route,” covers a distance of approximately 1,550 kilometers and meanders through the mid-hills of Nepal, maintaining an average elevation of around 2,000 meters. Despite this relatively moderate altitude, the trail still entails navigating several mountain passes, with the highest one being the Jang la Pass at 4,519 meters. This pass connects Dhorpatan and Dolpa in western Nepal.
