According to EU data privacy laws, our guide and staff are not allowed to post or share clients’ photos including other’s trekking company’s client’s pictures without their expressed consent. (Note: The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), effective on 25 May 2023)

Our guides, including staff are not permitted to post photos on social media with other’s company logos uniforms and taglines.

Our main concern is protecting the privacy of our valued clients and maintaining the goodwill of our company. So company urges our guide not to share and disseminate personal info of clients and company-privileged information, including copyrighted information, pictures, or company-issued documents.

Taking photographs or videos of the trekking destination by exposing the clear appearance of a client is not permitted.

All relevant trekking photos and videos collected from guides by the company are considered copyrighted.

Employer Monitoring

The company reserves the right to monitor and review without further notice every employee’s post regarding comments, photo posts,s or discussions about the company and clients.

Acknowledgment

Guides are required to sign a written acknowledgment that they received, read, understood, and agreed to comply with the company’s social media rules and guidelines.

Security:

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
