My family and friends have used Tulsi and Nepal Sanctuary Treks for 10 years and cannot recommend him and the company too highly. The level of service is First Class. Every arrangement is tailored to your particular needs and Tulsi has fantastic contacts throughout that part of the world which ensures that all goes smoothly. We have travelled widely in Nepal and Northern India (Darjeeling and Sikkim) with Nepal Sanctuary Treks and never ever had cause for concern. Having travelled all over the world I have yet to find a more reliable trekking and holiday company. If we were able to award stars – definitely a 5 star experience.

In November 2011 I had the privilege to go on a 6 day trek from Lukla to the Ama Dablam base camp, organized by Nepal Sanctuary Treks for a group of very different levels hikers. It was a dazzling experience and I have precious memories of the whole trip.

I have traveled extensively in Asia for business or leisure, and rarely have I seen in a travel agent such a great combination of quality of service, attention to the clients’ needs, reactivity to the journey’s episodes, security and kindness provided by the guide.

I can only recommend Tulsi and his team to any traveler who wants an unforgettable experience in Nepal.

Comfortable with Internet Booking!!

I organized a trek for myself and two friends to do the Annapurna and Sanctuary Trek. After contraction a number of companies via the Internet, I chose to use Tulsi at Nepal Sanctuary Treks.
I was extremely pleased with the service we received via the Internet. Everything that was promised and organized via email was delivered at the quoted price. We had a fantastic time in Nepal and I can highly recommend using Tulsi to organize anyone’s whole stay in Nepal.”

Thank you for an outstanding organization of our trek. Not only will it be lasting memories but we are ready for more as you know…
I am so grateful for you Tulsi to have come to meet us this morning after the late arrival of your flight last night and a long separation from your family. It says a lot about your dedication and amazing human nature as you were all smile this morning.

We are very grateful for Prashant relentless answers and wonderful organization despite the difficulties linked to reduced electrify and also the issue (that soon will be we hope just a bad memory) with your little daughter.

Finally please convey our gratitude and friendship as well to Chandra. We formed a terrific team up there. Cyril and I were really dedicated to make me overcome my fear of heights while crossing the suspended bridges. We would not want to forget Purna or Nanda, our porter and all the wonderful people in the lodges we stayed at.

Bina and Suraj

We have arrived back in the UK and wanted to thank you both and your team for making this a very memorable holiday for us.
Your professionalism and helpful advice throughout the planning stages and during the trip has been incredible I will definitely be recommending your services to friends and family wishing to travel to Nepal and hopefully we will be making another visit to Nepal in the near future.

Lastly please send our thanks again to both Lhakpa and Babu for looking after us during our stay there

I just returned from the trip of a lifetime in Nepal. Before I started reading about the many magnificent places to be explored I thought Nepal was all high altitudes and snowy mountains.
Actually, the country is at the same latitude as Florida and the southern jungle area, which borders on India, is the same altitude as lower parts of the Bay Area.

After deciding the level of trekking I thought I could manage (I’m 67 years old) and the various villages and town I wished to explore, I contacted Nepal Sanctuary Tours, a small, environmentally sensitive group, and discussed various options with them. Tulsi, the owner of the company, made all arrangements for hotels, lodges, tours, treks and transportation.

Since I was traveling on my own, it was very important to me that I have a reliable guide and safe accommodations. After contacting other people who had done both individual and group treks with Tulsi, I felt very secure with the arrangements and the itinerary he had devised.

Three very different but relatively easy treks were developed specifically for me: The first, a four night trek around the Kathmandu valley, provided beautiful views of the valley and central Himalayas. The lodges were very comfortable, with private baths and excellent meals. This trek never exceeded 5,000 feet. The second, a five night trek around the Annapurna Mountains afforded even more spectacular scenery and although the trekking lodges were more basic, all were clean and cozy, serving tasty and varied foods. Although this trek reached altitudes of over 9,000 feet, the ascent was gradual and very manageable.

The last trek took me to the Everest area where I spent 10 memorable days enjoying the varied scenery, picturesque villages and snowcapped peaks. In this trek we reached elevations of 12,800 feet but again the ascent was gradual and two different days were spent acclimatizing.

My guide for all treks was Lakpa Sherpa, a very pleasant young man who spoke excellent English and took care of me as he would his mother. Whether it was pointing out special sights, assisting me along the more difficult sections of trail, arranging for my food and lodging or explaining the customs and culture of the various tribes, he was always there for me, anticipating my every need.
Besides the treks, I also visited Chitwan National Park, Palaces, Lumbini, birthplace of Lord Buddha and many temples and shrines.

Tulsi takes a special interest in all his clients, keeping in close contact with the guides during all treks and travels and making sure everything goes as anticipated. When he asked me to critique my trip, all I could say was that it exceeded all expectations and I can’t wait to return for a repeat visit.

Nepal is a very safe and friendly country. I never had the slightest concern about going out at night in the towns or for my safety during the treks.

I am Deputy Principal at Island School Hong Kong and for many years the school has organised an annual Himalayan trek using Tulsi’s company.

Additionally he organised my own expedition from Kathmandu to Lhasa (Tibet) in 2001. Tulsi has been a honored friend of our school for many years. He can be relied upon absolutely to provide a high level of service. His reputation for honesty is beyond reproach. He is a delight to work with: a real gentleman.

I know that if you charge Tulsi with responsibility for organising an expedition into Tibet the preparation will be impeccable. We went equipped with equipment to guard against altitude sickness, the drivers and guides were first rate and all the accommodation and food arrangements went according to plan.

As far as it possible to guarantee safety in this region, it can be guaranteed by Tulsi.

I cannot recommend him highly enough and I am appreciative that you have chosen to use his company as times have not been good for Tulsi and the Nepali travel industry in recent years. Do not hesitate to contact me if you wish to know more.

Regards and have a great expedition. I know from experience that you will find this type of adventure awe inspiring.

Thank you for your email. You will be pleased to know that the trek went really well and all the teachers and students had a great time. Sandeep was a really good addition and we very much enjoyed having him along.

Dan and I want to tell you again what a pleasure it has been using “Nepal Sanctuary Treks” – you and your efficient staffs did an excellent job. All of you have been welcoming, professional, and sincerely friendly. We will definitely recommend “Nepal Sanctuary” to anyone we know who is planning a trip in Nepal. Also, I’d be happy to recommend your company to anyone who is considering booking a trip with you; feel free to give my e-mail to people.

Maria

I would like to let you know that my sister and her friends have returned from Nepal very happy. Everything went all right and they told me that your agency was very efficient.

Your guide and the porters were extremely professional. I hope to deal with you again in the near future.

Thank you once again.

Mr. Gale Gray

I met Tulsi of Nepal Sanctuary Treks in 1998 on my trip to Nepal. He has recommended to me while I was in Nepal (I arranged my own travel for that trip) when I needed to buy a ticket. I found him to be very helpful, knowledgeable, and a great person. We became friend and kept in touch. When I decided to arrange a trip to Tibet for five of us in 2000, I contacted him and he helped me to arrange a wonderful custom tour. He met or exceeded all of our needs. When we ended up leaving Tibet a day early, we called him and his brother showed up at the border right on time. To do that, he came up the night before so that he would be sure to meet us. Only someone who has crossed that border can understand what that meant!

I recommend his services and him as a person unconditionally. Feel free to contact me with any questions that you have. My phone number is 360-297-3480. I worked out of my home, so feel free to call anytime between 8 am and 9 pm PST. I would also be happy to answer any question by email.

Tibet is an amazing experience. I have arranged my own travel in a number of countries and feel comfortable doing so. Tibet is one country that I would probably not do it. It is best to work thorough a travel agent, especially one like Tulsi that can help with the rough spots.

Just to let you know that everyone arrived home safely and everyone said that they had a wonderful time in Nepal.

On a personal note, I would like to thank you for a wonderful trip again and again and as usual your excellent service and attention to detail….for which I cant thank you enough.

At the moment I am organizing our August trip to Kilimanjaro…I already have posted today…some adverts to various newspapers for our October trip to Everest Base Camp and I look forward to the outcome of which I will keep you informed.

Once again many thanks…my very best wishes to Sandeep and Prashant for which without them on the trek we couldn’t do without….

Richard Fredric

Yes, we had a good flight back to Hong Kong. We were all tired but content and happy with our experiences in Nepal. The students have written some good reflection papers with pictures to capture their experience. They were all impressed with the scenery, of course, but more than that the uninhibited friendliness of the people they met. Some could not understand that though they were poor, how the children at the schools we visited could be so happy. And several have already decided that they will return to Nepal – “once is not enough!”

Thank you and your whole crew for taking such good care of us – as always! The other teachers were also very impressed with Nepal Sanctuary Treks’ professionalism and you own gentlemanly manner.

Thanks again for a wonderful adventure on behalf of all of us on Annapurna Pranam and Biking.

Ian

Having arrived safely back in the UK (some sooner than others!) I would like to take the opportunity to thank you once again for organizing a most enjoyable trek for us and of course for your most kind hospitality on our return to Kathmandu.

The whole adventure was a truly memorable experience. We learned much from our adventure, not least to allow more time for acclimatization and unforeseen delays on our next trip. We would hope in the future to trek to Gokyo and the Chola Pass, returning via Base Camp.

In meantime please pass on our regards and thanks to Lhakpa and Tenzing who did so much to enhance our experience. You may be sure that we will recommend your Company to any of our friends visiting Nepal

Kind regards to you and your family

Pam Heckel

Jim and I are both so grateful for all of the kindness, consideration and amazing hospitality that you gave to us. Helping us move our luggage from one hotel to another, meeting us at the airport after the trek, these were absolutely amazing things. I wish you much success in all your future business endeavors and hope that you continue to be able to benefit Nepal. It is such an amazing country, with an unbelievably rich history and culture, unmatched natural beauty and some of the kindest, most gentle people I have ever met. Once again, thank you for the special care that you gave us.
