We were accompanied by exceptionally capable, kind, and caring guides and porters who made our six-day trek during the holidays truly enjoyable. Not only did they keep us well fed, comfortably housed, and safe (they even checked our heart rate and oxygen levels every night!), they also made my son’s 19th birthday unforgettable by surprising him with a cake, a topi, and a khata.
