As we come to the end of our fabulous Nepalese holiday I wanted to let you know how very impressed we were with our guide, Tenzing Sherpa.

Tenzing was everything we could have wanted from a guide, plus much, much more. He was kind and caring, knowledgeable and interesting, we had complete 100% faith in him and felt extremely well looked after. From our daily blood oxygen measurements, which our boys adored, to his constant picking up of litter from the mountain paths, he really was everything we could have hoped for from a guide.

I would not hesitate in recommending Nepal Sanctuary Treks and Tenzing in the highest possible terms to friends and colleagues in England.

Tulsi has provided me with many services over the last 20 years, from organizing raft support on kayaking expeditions, to internal flights (where he seems to have good contacts at many airports around the country, which I think is important when flights are cancelled, delayed frequently), accommodations, to full expedition support. In 1998 I organized a 7 men team to climb Mt. Pumari, and we had an additional 12 friends and family trek to Base Camp. Tulsi competently organized all permits, provision, supporting staff and internal transport. Subsequently similar expedition support was provided in 2001 when we made an attempt to climb Mt. Everest from Tibetan side. We once again organized an expedition to Chomlang and Mera peak on the way back on 2010. His company is competent, reliable, trustworthy and hard working. His ability and network of contacts allows him to solve those problems that present themselves from time to time when traveling in such a country.

I have recommended Tulsi to others to their satisfaction, and have no hesitation in utilizing his services again.

The trek involved a variety of landscapes and difficulties, with lovely tea houses, and I had my own guide and porter, both of whom were so welcoming and caring and taught me some basic Nepali in the evenings. I got a real sense of the culture of the country when passing through the beautiful villages and meeting the local people. The communication and organization for the trek were very professional, with my own direct chat with the manager of the company. I’ve had an amazing time in this stunning country and have made some wonderful friends, and to anyone looking for adventure,I would definitely recommend the Mardi Himal Trek with Nepal Sanctuary Treks.

Classic Everest Trek was an absolutely amazing trek – superbly organized and led by Nepal Sanctuary Treks who were outstanding in every regard. We received such detailed and excellent pre-trek information, briefing and logistics provided by Tulsi and his team. Our 3 fabulous Guides (Kharga, Kabi and Dinesh) and our 6 Porters were just so amazing, knowledgeable, caring and super helpful. the team who worked tirelessly to ensure that we were fully supported and cared for – both individually and as a group  It was indeed a magical trip and an adventure of a lifetime. Thank you to all at Nepal Sanctuary Treks for an unbelievable adventure of a lifetime. The trip was amazing and was definitely enhanced by the quality of the guides and the organization of all. An extremely well-designed itinerary that prepares us well for entry into higher altitude. Prior to the trip, we felt brilliantly prepared with detailed information. The women running teahouses along the trail and guides collecting rubbish en route made us aware of sustainability and environmental impact. We were incredibly fortunate to have such an amazing team. Trekking crews were just terrific, so friendly, professional, obliging and caring. The trekking crew and lodge owners always did everything to make us feel safe.

Nepal Sanctuary Treks organized a guide and porters (and permits, transportation etc) for an 11-day trek into the Langtang Valley for our family (two parents, two teenagers). We had previously used Tulsi and his company on two other trips to Nepal. Fantastic as per past experiences. They care for their staff, have a genuine commitment to the places and people that you visit and walk the talk in terms of a responsible future of tourism in Nepal. Can’t rate highly enough.
