For the past thirty years, Tulsi Gyawali has played a vital role in Nepal’s tourism sector, particularly in promoting the country as a preferred destination for trekkers in American and European markets. As the Managing Director of Nepal Sanctuary Treks, he actively advocates for adventure treks, mountaineering, cycling, rafting, jungle safaris, and cultural tours in Nepal.

Tulsi’s unwavering commitment to delivering quality services, promoting sustainable tourism, and fostering ecological awareness has garnered the trust of travelers from America, Europe, and Asia. With extensive travel experiences in Asia, Europe, and North America, Tulsi possesses a thorough understanding of clients’ expectations within the tourism sector. Through his dedication and hard work, Nepal Sanctuary Treks has made significant strides, earning a reputable standing in the industry.

Prashant, in his mid-thirties, has over 20 years of experience in tourism and has been with Nepal Sanctuary Treks since 1999. He has deep knowledge of adventure and cultural tourism and has successfully contributed to the company’s operations for the past 15 years.

Currently, he serves as the General Manager, overseeing daily operations, assigning the perfect guides for each trek or tour, and mentoring and motivating guides and operational staff.

He also coordinates with Tulsi to ensure the best transportation fleet and frequently visits lodges along trekking trails to identify the best options for clients. Additionally, he inspects best lodges in the Everest and Annapurna regions to meet the needs of our more discerning clients. Prashant is one of the most energetic and dedicated members of our team.

Pramila Shrestha joined Nepal Sanctuary Treks in 2018 as our Business Development and Sustainability Coordinator. She holds a Master’s Degree in Tourism Management from Assumption University in Thailand. In her role, she helps develop business plans and oversees our sustainability efforts.

Pramila has worked in the hospitality field since 2014, including at a renowned, award-winning holistic wellness resort in Thailand. Her tourism background and passion for the industry make her a highly valued member of our team. She is also a certified Travelife Coach.

Since the company started, Purna Shrestha has been a key member of the Nepal Sanctuary Treks team as the Quality Control Officer.

He carefully organizes and inspects trekking equipment and food supplies, making sure every trek is fully prepared. This includes high-quality tents, Portable Altitude Chambers (PACs), oximeters, satellite phones, and other essential gear.

Purna also seeks out sustainable suppliers to support environmentally responsible practices. His efforts ensure top-quality equipment while promoting eco-friendly trekking.

By combining attention to detail with a commitment to the environment, Purna makes a strong contribution to the mission and integrity of Nepal Sanctuary Treks.

Kaji Ram Chaudhary, a dedicated and trusted team member since 2017, serves as our driver. His responsibilities include transporting valued clients for pick-up and drop-off during arrivals and departures. Additionally, he leads clients on rim treks and sightseeing tours around the city.

There are 25 guides and supporting staff in this company. They are friendly, professional, responsible well-trained experienced for years in providing customized services. Also, they are trained first-aiders and carry a comprehensive First Aid kit. They know how to cope with mountains,  and are capable to deal with rescue services if any emergency arises. Furthermore, they are always by your side, ensuring your trip is everything and more than you expect. This is the team every company needs to have.
