Safaris in Nepal’s National Parks

Royal Chitwan National Park, Royal Bardia National Park along with 11 other national parks in Nepal are rich in different kind of flora and wildlife, birds, such as the rare great one-horned rhinoceros, several species of deer, bear, leopard, dolphin, crocodile, birds, tiger, etc., living in this park in their natural habitat. The parks are very popular for dugout canoeing, nature walk, bird watching, jungle excursion, village visit of local tribes called Tharu and etc.

Our program during your stay at National Parks has been designed in such a way so as to make your stay enjoyable but exciting at the same time. However, viewing wildlife at their best requires early morning and late afternoon excursions which is a matter beyond our control, and guests are advised to comply with the schedule for their own advantage. We also arrange longer trips who wish to be there for 3 days/4 nights or more.




  1. Day 01: Arrive, meet and transfer to the Lodge. On reaching lodge, our Guest Relation Officer brief you.

    After having breakfast, we take a scenic flight to Chitwan. Chitwan National Park is enlisted as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO for its bio-diversity and thriving of some rare species of animals.
    12 Noon: Upon arrival, Check-in,
    12:30 PM: Lunch will be served, rooms assigned and there will be a short briefing on the program and our
    3:30 PM: Tharu Village Tour/Visit: Trips accompanied by experienced Naturalist & tour guide carry the
    Tharu/Derai village visit is an interesting way to experience the culture & lifestyle of local indigenous

    6:30 PM: Slide Presentation: One of our jungle experts will introduce background data and history of the
    Royal Chitwan National Park as well as some other topics relating to wildlife. Your questions are
    most welcome.
    7:30 PM: Dinner in the central dining hall

  2. Day 02:: Jungle Activities

    5:30 AM: Wake-up call followed by tea or coffee.
    6:00 AM: Jungle walk/ Jeep Safari
    8:30 AM: Breakfast
    10:00 AM: Elephant breeding center
    1.00 PM: Lunch.
    3:00 PM: Canoeing: A traditional dug-out canoe takes you on a silent trip down the Rapti River
    to view aquatic birds and the animals of the river banks. Back to the Resort through
    the Jungle.
    4:00 PM: Crocodile Breeding Farm Visit: This encounter on foot with the
    environment will introduce the main features of eastern Chitwan. Sal forest, open grassland and
    riverine jungle. Our guides will help you identify some species of birds, plants and other wildlife
    that you may encounter & naturalist will show many reptiles such as the endangered Gharial
    Crocodile, Marsh Mugger Crocodile, and Tortoises inside the National park.
    7:30 PM: Dinner in the central dining hall.

  3. Day 03:: Departure

    5:30 AM: Wake-up call followed by tea or coffee.
    6:30 AM: Bird Watching/Easy morning sitting on the Bank of Rapti River.
    8.00 AM: Breakfast

    9.00 AM: Luggage down and Departure

    (The actual program for your stay will be suggested to you on arrival at the Resort. The activities are adjusted to the length of your stay, the season and current weather conditions. Naturally, it may not always be possible to follow this schedule to the minute and you will have to bear in mind that in such an unusual environment, circumstances may require the program to be altered at short notice. On safari in the jungle, you will be accompanied by our expert naturalists who will advise on safety procedures and we request that you respect their judgment at all times. )
